This is a nice folky American crazy quilt that was found in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It dates back to the late 19th century and has excellent folk art hand stitched figures throughout, including hearts, stars, hands, animals and a few people including a share cropper with several family members names Homer and Sarah Aldridge . The fabric is wool and cotton and it is in overall excellent condition throughout and the back is burgandy felt. This is a nice early southern crazy quilt with a good scalloped border. Measurements: Twin size 82″ x 56″
