This is a good early Fredericksburg Virginia stoneware jar that dates back to 1860-1870. It is in good condition with only 1 small chip on the rim. The cobalt decoration is typical of Fredericksburg stoneware pieces. This is a nice early 1 gallon canning crock. Guaranteed to your Satisfaction.
