THIS IS A NICE EARLY PAIR OF BRASS OR BRONZE EAGLE FLAG STAFF FINIALS THAT DATE BACK TO THE CIVIL WAR OR JUST AFTER. THEY ARE BOTH IN GOOD CONDITION WITH OLD PATINA THROUGHOUT. THESE WERE USED TO TO TOP FLAGPOLES AND HAND HELD STAFFS DURING THE 19TH CENTURY DURING BATTLE AND HOMECOMING PARADES. FOUND NEAR RICHMOND VIRGINIA IN THE 80’S AND BOTH EAGLES HAVE SURVIVED TOGETHER ALL THIS TIME. NICE PAIR OF PATRIOTIC EARLY AMERICAN HISTORY. COMES WITH STAND FOR DISPLAY. EAGLES MEASURE 10.5″ TALL OVERALL 6″ WINGSPAN EACH. BASE IS 17.5″ X 5.5″
